Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make travelling more about people and less about sweaty outings to statues of dead white men.
ABOUT ME
I'm a thoughtful, goofy person that loves conversation and old friends. My career is as an online activist for progressive causes, especially environmental stuff. I'm originally from Northwest Washington DC, and I think it shows in my attitudes-I'm open-minded and interested in world affairs and I really like interesting food, especially Asian food.
PHILOSOPHY
Like I said above, I tend to be thoughtful and planful, but I also care deeply about fun and joy. I care about fairness, but I try to avoid being nitpicky. I am a vegetarian, but not particularly a pacifist. One thing that tends to show through is my love of technology combined with my irreverence for it. I enjoy tinkering with almost any kind of gadget, but I don't think that people should invest lots of time and money inventing them if they aren't really helpful to the world (i.e. sports cars).
