ABOUT ME

I'm Stan Putman, a story lover. They can either be written down in a book, shot on film, tattooed on your upper-arm or, most preferably, shared by you in person. If I grow up, I want to become an ideamachine. I want to invent, create and leave something worth seeing/reading for the world in case I die.
At the moment I'm traveling over land from Hong Kong back to my hometown Driehuis, which is half an hour by train from Amsterdam. In the summer I hope to move to Amsterdam and start my studies.

PHILOSOPHY

I recently read the following sentence in a book: "Try everything once except incest". This doesn't justify stealing apples or genocide, but there are some good parts about this philosophy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed some couches, bunkbeds and matrasses in Berlin and Beijing, but you're welcome to jump on our spare bed.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sleeping on the deck of a ferry between Venice and Greece and being woken by a stunning view, meeting Maasai nomads in Kenya, traveling the Transsiberian Railway (at the moment), sleeping on the Great Wall in China.
