I am a AVM survivor (an uncommon brain condition). Luckily I was able to overcome it without experiencing brain damage, but it made me think a lot about life and about enjoying it without forgetting about the others. In my spare time I am a professor of economics doing research on (I think) relevant social issues. I got a PhD at UC Berkeley where significant history was made when it comes to civil rights, social issues and environment. I try to honor that tradition.

For many years I was just so focused on my academic career and work, but after my AVM was discovered, I realized that life is more than that. I am in couchsurfing to travel and experience the world, and I think here I would find amazing people to fulfill that goal
