Hi, I’m Stas. I’m originally from Ukraine, spent a few years in Berlin, and now live in Las Vegas. Creativity and community are big parts of my life—I’ve worked in hospitality as a bartender, and I also run small projects that mix sustainability with craft. Right now, I’m working on glass bottles upcycling project.

This September (21–28), I’ll be in New York for Climate Week 2025 to present this upcycling project. I’ll be traveling with a few of my creations, sharing the idea that small, simple steps can reduce waste and bring new beauty into daily life. My trip is very lightweight — just a backpack and an open mind. Even one night on your couch during this week would mean a lot, since I’ll be moving around and can easily bounce between places.

Couchsurfing for me is about people, not just places. I value real connections—sharing meals, stories, and ideas. I’m respectful, easygoing, and keep things clean. I adapt quickly to different environments and enjoy both quiet evenings and lively conversations.
