ABOUT ME

My life centers around Buddhism a lot these days but I am not preachy or anything. I really love travelling and I want to figure out what the perfect recipe for visiting a country is. I am interested in the whole concept of traveling, why people do it and what they want to get out of it. I also like budget traveling and consider it a sport. I was born in Russia and then I moved to Israel, where I lived between the ages of 6 and 16, which was followed by me moving to London for 2 years and after that Nepal where I currently reside. I don't know If I will ever settle down, and if I ever do I will feel that I am missing out because there is this big planet that I don't want to miss out on.

At the moment I study Buddhist philosophy in a University in Nepal where I lived for the past 7 years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One time I was able to find a place to stay during the time when HH Dalai Lama was giving the Kalachakra Initiation in Bodhgaya, which normally has a population of 30,000 people, and had 150,000 people who came for the teachings(hotel prices 6 months in advance were asking for $500 a night). Also, twice I found a host just the night before and all the people we ever hosted or met through couchsurfing were wonderful.

兴趣

I am really interested in Buddhism, that's my main thing. I like traveling, meeting new people and seeing how people live their live's in such a variety of different ways. Also I watch more T.V. than anybody ever should even admit to, I don't know how this happened.

I binge on movies, I don't remember when was the last time I read a book that was not about Buddhism and I lost my music library when my laptop was stolen in Germany and never properly rebuilt it again.

I have lived in Nepal since I was 18 but I guess its not that special since around 30 million people have done that since birth.
