Hello everybody. My name's Stanley, and I'm from a lovely town in England called St. Albans, which claims to have the most pubs per square mile in the country.

I quit my job to go travelling round the world with my girlfriend, and being on holiday is definitely better than being at work.

Music: my favourites are jazz and funk - new stuff like Snarky Puppy and Ezra Collective and plenty of older stuff lile John Coltrane and Bill Evans. I like big house and disco beats too, and enjoy classic rock like Black Sabbath and Frank Zappa.

Movies: The Big Lebowski.

TV: The Wire, The Sopranos, The Americans.

Books: Currently I'm enjoying reading books by authors from the countries I'm in, or about those countries. Always open to suggestions of what to read to get a greater understanding of where I am!
