Hey :) I'm stan, and I'm from Los Angeles, California. I've always dreamt of traveling the world while working on what I love to do, which is music. I've played the drums since I was very young and got into songwriting and producing a few years ago, and have not stopped since. I live in Los Angeles with my two lovely parents and I have gone to college here and made so many friends growing up here. I love to learn new things and try different experiences, even when they are uncomfortable because I think life starts at the end of your comfort zone. I love cooking, eating, learning spanish, learning how to dance, anything music-related, sightseeing, improv comedy, stand-up comedy, movies, tv shows, snowboarding, swimming, going to the gym, and meeting new people and talking about anything interesting. I have been to Asian countries and different states within the US, but I have yet to visit Europe, which is why I am excited for this year :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to try my best to be able to make friends and also to save money while I travel across Europe from May until November of 2019. I love the idea of sharing stories, positivity, and meaningful time with brand new friends and crashing on random couches all over the world. I want to learn for myself and strengthen my ability to be independent and smart about my choices as I travel the world. Whenever time permits, I love showing people around my city of LA, and I would love to experience different countries with actual locals as well!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered at Phoenix Children's Hospital's Camp Rainbow for children with blood disease and cancer. My friends and I organized a live concert called "Campchella" where we put together live backing tracks and a live band and we played Top 40 hits from Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, and Bruno Mars for all the camp goers! I had such an amazing time spending a week hanging out and doing fun activities and sharing stories with the kids there. Very memorable experience!

I can teach anything about drumming, music producing, songwriting, communication skills, dating, music genres, English, Korean, philosophy, and probably a lot more!

I would love to learn how to dance better, make music better, travel more wisely and more budget friendly, and I would love to learn anything about local culture and stories!
