ABOUT ME

A kind and loving, sensitive soul, fun-loving, generous and light hearted. Love meeting people from all walks of life and learning new things about myself and the world. I am happy doing anything that allows me to do this.

I love music, dance, play (a big Leo child), massage, art, creativity, good food, friends, family, love, laughter all the best things in life.

I live in London where I grew up but have family dispersed around the world. I grew up in a busy house, always full of guests and lodgers. I love the personal warmth of an inviting environment and like to make people feel welcome. In my old student flat we used to cook big meals for all our friends or gather and be merry together. This conviviality and communality is very important to me.

PHILOSOPHY

Constantly evolving and adapting as I grow matuer with age. Very influenced by studying philosophy, politics, bhuddism and time spent in community or in nature.

People say i have a grounded approach to life's difficulties. Bodenständig.

I try to be patient and understanding and not regret or judge others.

Growing up in London I have a love of difference!

Most important for me is that everything is relative - i.e. things are only 'bad, good, weird, normal' because they are so labelled.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed for the first time many summers ago and it was the best form of travelling I ever done. VERY excited to be doing it again now in Brazil. I have also hosted, which I love.

Like almost all music. am endlessly fascinated by how powerful music is. from Brazilian folk (Forró) to underground NY hip hop.

Love reading both fiction and non-fiction, poetry ... Love the poetry of Mary Oliver. Always like to read literature from other cultures.

Love independent cinema, especially foreign language films.

Am pretty open minded in this regard
