ABOUT ME

I was living in NYC when the recession hit and I was given the opportunity to travel (since there weren't any jobs!!!). I started in March 2009 and am still traveling today (February 18th as of last update). Last year I was teaching English in South Korea. Now I am in India. Wherever the wind blows, I can go. I enjoy meeting people, having drinks, talking about life, reading books (of any kind - literature, biography, but I am not opposed to a mindless beach read with a pink glittery cover either).

I live a life of contradictions. I like this. I like that. I don't always know what I want, but I almost always know what I don't want.

I would rather stay with locals than have to stay at a hostel with 20 - something travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have always been a "surfer" and had nothing but wonderful experiences. You can talk to me or not talk to me as much as you like. I won't impose on your space anymore than necessary, but if you would like to chat and get to know each other, that's cool too. I understand that you are opening your home up to a stranger and respect whatever boundaries you would like to set.

兴趣

Movies, music, food (cooking and eating), travel, working out, sleeping, making people laugh, being silly, drinking...this question stresses me out.

I'm 40.....I enjoy buying plane tickets and seeing new places. That's OK, right?
