About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore and grow into myself as much as I can
ABOUT ME
About me...these are always kinda strange because of course I want to tell everyone how amazing I am but I don't want to sound like a narcisist. I'm 19 and have recently departed on what I hope to be the trip of a lifetime. I'm on the eccentric side but in a fun way, not crazy cat lady kind of way. I like to dance in the rain and I collect scraps of red fabric to sew buttons onto and mail them out looking like lady bugs. I never put a return address on them. I'm definately on the alternative side but I think most of the people on this site are as well. I don't really know what else to put here...if you have quetions just ask I guess!
PHILOSOPHY
I guess that because I'm here I'm going to have the best time I possibly can. I am definately not religious, but do enjoy religious debate and discussion. I just think that the world will unfold around me the way it should and the only thing I can do in that is to act right by my own morals and standards in every situation.
Everything is beautiful if you look at it the right way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am brand new to this community, but I am absolutely willing to spend time with people and share my experiences in exchange for theirs. I'm just really openminded and curious and looking to proliferate that type of thought where ever I go.

Music:
There is so much that goes here...I am currently having a love affair with Rise against, Chris Caraba and I are getting married (He doesn't know it yet, so keep this on the DL), Ani Difranco is my lover, System of a Down makes me happy...I love rave-ish type music, I love acoustic guitars, I love politics and anything intelligently addressing them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I volunteer a lot, and one of my favorite projects is the Calgary Fringe festival. I have been volunteering since the first year and have had the opportunity to help build what was a small festival a few years ago into a booming event that people come from around to world to attend. I am the box office co-ordinator so I get to interact directly with all of the patrons and performers. It's a pretty incredible experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well this s the very beginning for me so I'm sure this part will be edited later, but the things I presently have to offer include the following. I can do mending and such, I alter my own clothes so I can help others as well. I can cook half decently (though I am a vegitarian). I don't mind helping with chores. I can always offer intelligent conversation and honest opinions.
I'm sure theres more, and I have a willingness to help and learn so just ask if you need something.
There is also something I would like to learn, I took three years of German in high school and would like to learn to speak it practically, so anyone with a German background or education feel free to contact me!
