To be able to say that I visited Europe and had a wonderful time there! I also want to feel the life of all of the places I visit.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small town in NH. I was always outside, usually playing in the swamp that was part of our backyard. I love lakes. I study the Biological Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University and hope to obtain a minor in Hispanic Studies and Biomedical Engineering. I want to start my own biotechnology company, but I want it to be GREEN and completely revolutionize the industry!! I'm pretty shy initially, but after a little while I start to open up. I have a week left of my study abroad program in Sevilla, España, and I'm going to miss this city! I've fallen in love with it, especially the Triana Bridge, it's so pretty...

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to better the world. I'm spiritual, and I believe that I was put on this earth for a purpose, what that purpose is exactly, I don't currently know, but when I get there, I'll know!

I'm motivated by people telling me I can't do something.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm completely new to couchsurfing, but I hope to meet some people and make some friends. I would love to host surfers but as I don't yet have a place of my own, that's going to have to be put on hold.

Interests

I positively LOVE cooking; I can never follow a recipe without changing it in some way. I plan on saving the environment. I use recyclable bags and am trying to use more organic products. I read when I can and paint or draw when I have the desire. I can knit, sew, and crochet, and I like playing tennis and going skiing, hiking, camping, and fishing. I find swampwalking and chess very fun. I've made at least one attempt at surfing and have gone rock climbing in the Sierra Nevadas once with my brother. I love not hearing cars or the hum of the city. Hanging out and talking with friends is also something I enjoy.

I can talk about science and environmental awareness. I also know quite a few things about the Spanish and Indian cultures. Also, landmarks in the United States. I would like to learn languages and how to cook foods that are representative of different cultures.
