ABOUT ME

I love this planet and all people upon it. I am passionate about international political, social and economic change, especially that which is led by young people. I love a good conversation. I work for positive social change in every way that I can. Currently, my focuses are urban agriculture, garden education and community resilience. Let us re-imagine what is possible in this world!

Mostly I am relaxed, easy going and will most always have a smile on my face (see photos).

I also believe deeply in the importance of human empowerment and work passionately to listen, learn and act for the improved quality of life of all human beings.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have spent much of my last 5 years traveling and benefiting from the kindness and hospitality of wonderful people with open doors who shared with me their community, their stories and a couch. Though I did most of this without couchsurfing.org, since joining this site I have met even more passionate and amazing people. What an incredible community! I have just moved to Long Beach, CA and though I cannot yet host people I look forward to meeting with travelers here whenever possible.

Trying to sled down sand dunes on Christmas Day 2005 in the Sahara Desert, Niger. Unbelievable. I think if I could have any playground right now, I would choose a sand dune.
