ABOUT ME

An easygoing liberalist. I enjoy making new friends, tasting different cultures, and exploring the diversity of this world.
Taiwan is my lovely homeland. I love singing (be it in choir, in A Cappella band or in Karaoke), traveling (well if you are viewing this profile you must love traveling too), cooking (a useful skill for both surfing and hosting!), and learning languages.
Now I'm doing my PhD in Oxford (people call it 'DPhil' here) focusing on EU environmental regulation. Yes I was a lawyer but I decided to escape from the legal practice.
Oh btw, if you feel hard to pronounce my name, just call me PH.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed and hosted several times but mostly outside this platform (eg friends, friends' friends or other social networks). Hosted 5~6 times when I was in Berlin as an exchange student in 2007-08, and 2 times hosting experience in Oxford. I surfed some couches in Bonn, Muenchen, Heidelberg, and London. I've also been to CS events in Berlin and Rome.
