ABOUT ME

My name is Devon and I am a San Diego native and new to CS. I caught the travel bug in 2008 and don't know if I will ever get my fill. I like doing things outdoors, especially around water. I enjoy meeting new people, everyone has a lesson to teach. I like to teach but enjoy learning something new everyday. Challenges are always accepted, and I love overcoming all of them. I really want to travel everywhere, I want to experience everything that I can, while I can. I am Irish so a drink to break the ice is usually a must. I am currently pursuing a degree in Social Science at Grossmont college.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS but plan on participating as much as I can. I am open to people at my humble house in PB and want to go to the next local meet up. I just started being able to host when need be so hopefully someone will roll through soon. In the future I hope to at least meet some people from abroad to broaden my horizons if not stay on a couch or two.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met some members through other avenues and they were great people. They told me about the fun and exciting people they have let stay and it sounds like an exciting experience that could be an adventure.

I have been to Amsterdam NET, Munich (for oktoberfest)GER, Nuremburg GER, Fussen GER, Zurich SWI, Florence ITA, Venice ITA, Rome ITA, Mexico City MEX, Puerto Escondido MEX, San Cristobal MEX, Palenque MEX, and Cholula MEX. Seen and done a lot of things here in my home town and especially in LA.

I have gone to Coachella two different years and want to go to as many music festivals I can in the future around the world.

Munich for Oktoberfest was something I will never forget.

A conversation will uncover way more than this small box ever will.
