Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived on a couch for two weeks when I first arrived in London. The kitchen was in a cupboard. There were 4 people and a dog, plus me on the couch - very crowded. They were really kind to me and I was extremely grateful - they helped me start my life in Europe.

Interests

Meeting new people, travelling. I spend a quite a lot of time in London and around the rest of Europe. I like wine, conversation, food, friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of movies - Australian movies also. Music - rock, but I'll listen to anything. Books - Hemingway, Vonnegut, history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was sailing a surf-catamaran in Broome, North-West Australia, by myself, and a dolphin came and swam beside me, and stuck his head up and sort of winked. We stared eye to eye for a while them he swam off. I often dream of the ocean, and the amazing creatures in it.
