Sometimes I am prone to bouts of unstoppable laughter. I like sending postcards, baking cakes, and Talking Heads. I'm good at words. Air travel makes my heart palpitate--not in a good way--but I do it anyway. I have short hair and long toes. I am left-handed and smudge everything I write because of it. That's all.

A woman gave me a bag full of apples on the streets of Munich on New Year's Eve. I was wary of eating them so a friend hollowed them out and we blew them up with firecrackers.
