Overview
About Me
I am a nineteen year old computer engineering student. I study computer engineering because I hope to research the integration of electronics into organic material - to facilitate this goal, I intend take additional chemistry classes to gain an understanding of material science. I was born and raised in San Diego, CA USA, and am ecstatic to be studying in Sweden for a semester. One of my primary goals in my study abroad experience is to gain insight into various cultures' approaches to engineering.
Aside from academics, I love to camp and explore. I am making concerted efforts to depart from my schooling to explore Scandinavia before I go home, taking advantage of the freedom to wander where I may and off-road at leisure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am exploring, and my desire to couchsurf is twofold. Firstly, money is a concern, as it is with everyone. Many nights I will want to camp at my hiking destinations, but for transport between locations need the resource of kind locals. Secondly: I don't have much interest in inns and hotels. I'd rather spend my evenings interacting with people in the cultures I'm visiting, talking about experiences and adventures.
Interests
I really enjoy my choice of education and spend a lot of time studying. I love to dance, and in San Diego am a member of San Diego Civic Dance Art's Young Adult dance team.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I am not the most social of creatures, and am often quiet, but polite to a fault (I am currently struggling with Swedish and it's lack of "please") and enthusiastic about philosophical conversations. I always like to share my perspective and come to understand another's. As a guest, I will be unassuming unless my host would like a conversation on any Great Mystery of Life of their choosing.
