Come and stay with me or let me stay with you and we can find out about each other. What's the worst that can happen? I think it's hard to talk about others let alone yourself. People can say whatever they want about themselves but until you meet or at least talk on the phone I don't expect much. Saying that, anyone who is offering there home is a pretty good sign. Anyway I've never had a bad experience with anyone I've met in my couch travels.
