My name is Mike, I am 28 from the US and my greatest passion is traveling. I am open minded, very easy going, and accustomed to sleeping on couches of all shapes and sizes! I'm currently traveling around the world for the next two years and can't wait to meet new people and their couches!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just completed a year and a half trip around the world and am figuring out what to do with my life. When I land somewhere and acquire a couch it will be open to one and all for surfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done much amateur couch surfing throughout my travels and was able to do a good amount of couch surfing through CS during my past travels. I look forward to hosting in the future.

Interesses

I love to read, write, listen to music, backpack, explore new places, eat, drink, cook, mix it up, and discuss anything and everything with people along the way. When I am traveling to new cities I like to find local spots or other places off the beaten path. I also love sharing stories over a beer and trying new cuisines.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I love just about any type of music. I need to learn some new dance moves though! I'm also a pretty big movie buff- mostly I like to see as many classic and foreign films as I can get my hands on. As for books, I'm a Hemingway and Fitzgerald man but I'll give anything a try.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Probably my three most breathtaking moments were: (1) riding camels over the dunes to the Great Pyramids of Giza; (2) seeing the sun set on the Taj Mahal; and (3) hiking the Great Wall of China. I've been to quite a few places over the years but I'm always itching to see more!

I know how to paint (houses not paintings) and make chinese-style omelets. And some other stuff too! I'd love to (try) to learn some new languages...
