I am a Dutch guy currently working as a historian in the southern part of the Netherlands: Brabant. Before this I was studying my master's in Copenhagen. In my life, I have lived in several places: the Netherlands, Chile, Mexico, Russia and Denmark and I have been to many countries for an extended period of time: China, Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine..

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I think you can really get to know a place and appreciate it to its fullest when you are in contact with the people that are actually living in that place. So far, I have had only very cool experiences with couchsurfing and I'd love to explore more.

I like being outside and doing sports: triathlon, road cycling, mountainbiking, hiking, windsurfing, beach volleybal. I like reading a lot and meeting new people, this gives me a lot of energy.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

My favourite book might by War and Peace. I am also a big fan of Amos Oz.
I like all kinds of music really but recently, I have mostly listened to classical music and folk rock. One of my favourite artists is Asaf Avidan.
As for movies: I like Ida, Mr. Nobody, and Never Let me Go a lot.
