About Me

I was born and grew up in Warsaw. Now I'm staying at Rome. It wasn't my decision, but my bishop's, who sent me there to study patristics (the teaching of the Fathers of the Church, if someone hadn't known) because I'm a priest (ordination in 2010). I'm also involved in Light-Life Movement.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that this is a great idea of hospitality. My family was always open for receiving guests, and my parents many times were accepted while being abroad. Now internet allows us to share information more easily, and to exchange experiences not only in VR but also in person.

Interests

I'm interested in theology, philosophy, literature, arts, computers, films. I like being creative, and to understand how the things works. I found out that the Jesus is the answer for my questions, so I became a priest. I'm very happy for the life that now I've got.

Music, Movies, and Books

Definitely on the first place would be the Bible. I also like Sci-fi like Orson Scott Card's "Ender's Game" or fantasy like J.R.R Tolkien "Lord of the Rings"; from our polish writers in this genre i like A. Sapkowski who created The Witcher series, and Zajdel who was a superb sci-fi writer. I also like poetry of C.K. Norwid.
My favorite director is Andriej Tarkowski, but I also like our polish directors like Kieślowski and Wajda. I'm a fan of Star Trek.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I read a whole Bible.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can talk about the doctrine of the Catholic Church, and about the ancient christianity. I can also share experience of the ordinary life of a priest.
Now I'm searching for the opportunity to learn french, because it's necessary in my studies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Anything that my host would like from Poland. I may also pray together with him, or just talk.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Greece, Switzerland, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, Poland
