Hi my name is Stefan, I am born and raised in Zurich but I do have roots in Bolivia (my father is from La Paz). Currently I‘m doing a master in Accounting and Finance at the university of St. Gallen. I‘m a open minded and kind person who not only wants to see new places but also wants to meet new people.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Back in 2016 it was the first time I was travelling alone. I travelled 5 months alone through South and North America. It was the time of my life! On this journey I almost always slept in hostals. I can't complain, it was always really nice and I made friends all around the world wich is amazing for me. But during this time I missed a little the contact to the locals. The time I spent with locals was always great because they showed me a lot of cool places and told my really interesting things about the local culture.

During my jounrey in America I met a lot of people who already had there first couchsurfing experience and all of them told me good things about it. So at the end of those 5 months I decided to find out myself what's all this about and I surfed on some couches in Mexico and the United States. To be honest I was blown away because all my hosts were such cool people and as I mentioned before all of them gave my some really good insider tips which made my stay even better.

That's the reason why now I´m back on couchsurfing. Even I don’t have any travel plans ahead I want to meet new people and show them around in my city.

Música, películas y libros

Music: In the past summers before Covid I've visited a lot of festivals for example the Openair Frauenfeld, the Melt Festival or the Lollapalooza. If you google them you see what kind of music I'm into (basicly everything).

Movies: I'm a big fan of all the movies of Quentin Tarantino and Christopher Nolan.

Books: I love classics like the ones you read in school, but I also enjoy crime and fantasy books
