About Me

Hi there! My name is Stefan - I'm a musician and singer based in Montreal.

A little bit about me: my day job is in financial services/AI. I work for a start-up based out of Chicago, where we help credit unions implement AI into their operations. It's a fun job that keeps me travelling and busy.

I release music under the artist name "Lensky" - I just put out a couple singles, and am constantly working on new projects. My band and I perform pretty regularly across Canada (mainly Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal for now). I really like meeting other musicians and artists, either to collaborate or just to discuss art/music/etc.

I also have a side job working as a music journalist for a dance radio station. I usually hit up a few festivals every summer for work, and love to discover new techno & house music.

In my spare time, I like to workout (really into cycling at the moment!), cook elaborate dinners, read, and go out to bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. Whenever I travel, I like to meet locals and try to learn a little of the local language.

For the hosts: I should mention I'm quite neat and basically okay with any sleeping situation. I tend to keep to myself but I'm always happy to hangout or go on an adventure when there's time.

For the travellers: I'm happy to host in my apartment in Montreal's Mile End. Please send me a message with the note "I love tomatoes" so I know you read to the end. My apartment is spacious but I do live with a roommate and a cat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I became a part of this community when I was living in Belgrade, Serbia - that's where my parents are from, and it's the place I treated as a 'homebase' while traveling Europe. I've had some awesome adventures on here, and while I'm a little active when it comes to travel, I do like to connect with other Couchsurfers when I'm abroad.
