I left my hometown Cologne in September 2018 to work for three years in Kilifi, a town at the Kenyan coast, directely at the Indian Ocean. I like to be there, love Swahili culture, the friendly people and the war-humid climate and seaside a lot - but I miss Cologne and the Rhine from time to time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Have lived in France and in Kenya and traveled in a lot of EU countries but also outside Europe. It's always wonderful and enriching to meet new people from around the world and share a bit their lives and experiences. And it's lovely to have a nice accomodation at a welcoming host's home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Doing the Camino de Santiago in 201. 800 km by foot in 5 weeks. Really an experience I don't want to miss. And in november 2017 I went by foot thru the Mauretanien desert, a stunning landscape which you cannot describe in words.

What I Can Share with Hosts

In the moment I am still looking for a new home so that I cannot host guests. But I would like to meet Couchsurfers in the Kilifi-Mombasa-Malindi area,. Would be great!
