About Me

I study Mulilingual Communication (Spanish and English) in Cologne because I love to learn languages and about different cultures. Soon I imagine myself working as a translator or interpreter. maybe I'll translate books? Who knows!
In my free time I for example visit a salsa class, hip hop dance course and have singing lessons. I like to keep myself busy but I also like to enjoy the silence.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a big map of the world on the wall over my bed with pins on every place I've ever travelled to. When I'm old I want to look at this map and see a pin everywhere I wanted to go to and remember all the great times and people I met. That's my biggest goal. And I think Couchsurfing makes that goal more possible. Getting to know locals who can show you secret places of the city you're travelling to is just so much more valuable than staying in a hotel and getting shooed by some tour guide.
I actually stayed with someone in Dublin, Ireland for a few nights so I have some experience with couchsurfing, however I found the host through a facebook couchsurfing Ireland group. I think Couchsurfing.com is more reliable and it's awesome to find hosts all over the world.

I would love to accept guests, too, but I live in a flatshare and only have one but. I could only offer you to sleep on a sleeping mat. So if you don't mind, you can contact me and I might be able to accept you. But I'd love to meet you when you visit Cologne! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any kind of music except german traditional music and metal haha. I even listen to classical music from time to time, film soundtracks or just any music that suits my mood.
My favourite book (series) is Harry Potter, although I read plenty of books all the time. I don't have one favourite film but I admire every film that you can't stop thinking about afterwards and inspires you, for example Life of Pi, into the wild, the theory of everything or The secret life of Walter Mitty

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to narrow it down... here a few things:
- skydive in New Zealand, Queenstown! :)
- also NZ, the Tongariro Crossing, a day hike through an active volcanic region over the Mount Tongariro.
- visiting the border between North and South Korea
- climbing the scarily steep stairs of the Great Wall of China on a very very rainy day

What I Can Share with Hosts

Tasty food, singing, discussion about meaning of life or why travelling makes you a greater person
