About Me

I'm a 24 years old boy from northern Italy, trying to combine a working life with the insatiable thirst for adventure, curiosity and life experiences

I am graduated in Russian and Spanish language, but I work in accomodation in a mountain resort; the best way to be immersed in nature and soaking in the beauty of the mountains.

I enjoy silence, sharing, going into the woods and listening to the wind, hiking to a viewpoint and taking in the views, breathing in cold air, sweating in a sauna, cycling along a new road, drinking a beer with someone I've never met before, stargazing, the smell of burning wood, the noise of a crowd cheering at a football match

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that couchsurfing is an amazing mean to get to know local culture, new people and friends and to get the most un-biased opinions and honest recommendations. Can't wait to start surfing!

Interests

I love spending time in nature, hiking and cycling. I enjoy having fun with friends and meeting new people but I also like a lot spending some time experiencing new adventures alone.

Bike packing is my favorite way I like to experience the world; cycling gives you the possibility to experience a country's culture, nature, food, hospitality, in a slow paced way, savoring the details and giving you time to take in everything around you

Music, Movies, and Books

My playlists and to-watch-list are quite random: anything is ok to start a conversation or get a discussion going

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Cycled from Italy to Nordkapp, 5600km unsupported, sleeping in a tent and getting very wet with the Spring's rain
- Cycled twice the length of Italy
- Hiked 500 km along the Camino de Santiago
- Drove a 4x4 Soviet-designed campervan along the country of Georgia
- Lived one year in Latvia, getting out of my confort zone and exploring the beauty of its nature
- Met a ton of interesting people along the way

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to talk about cultures and traditions, share experiences and travel stories. I can teach you to cook some Italian cuisine, and we can have try to improve each other's language skills, let's not focus just on English!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share travel stories and travel tips, I don't mind doing some house work, cleaning and cooking some Italian dishes. I can share my knowledge in some unusual fields and I'm always ready to learn new stuff. I can offer some good conversations and help you improve your language skills. If you need to repair your bike i can give you a help
