About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel....a lot.

ABOUT ME

I'm not really good in describing myself. I'm only a normal italian guy that don't look so italian!I'm very curious, easygoing, generally friendly, happy and a big music&books lover.

PHILOSOPHY

I think there's something to learn in everybody, so a good conversation can be one of the most important experience to discover something new (maybe it's not a philosophy at all, but i like to think in this way).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Some friend of mine suggested me as a wonderful way of travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only been hosted, unfortunately i never had the opportunity to host people. I found a couch 3 times in Netherlands, then once in Helsinki for just one night, once in Kaunas (Lithuania) for 2 days and finally once in Auckland (New Zealand) for 3 days.

Interests

As sports i like very much playing football and swimming. When i prefer to be more relaxed i love to read or to watch a movie. But of course as first interest i'd chose travel, travel and travel again.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: A tribe called quest, Quasimoto, Madlib, Kings of convenience, Bonobo, Radiohead, Tame Impala, Pond, Allah Las, Blur, Franco Battiato.

Movies: Woody Allen, Martin Scorsese, Joel&Ethan Cohen, Kim Ki Duk, David Lynch.

Books: Pessoa, Thoreau, Garcia Marquez, Huxley, Faulkner, Hesse, Miller, Burroughs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying out in Venice the whole night, no tourists, only the rain and the magic atmosphere of the city.

Hitchhiking all over Japan, i discovered how great and nice are japanese people.

Spending 3 months in Alaska, hitchhiking, hiking and backpacking all around the state.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit of italian (i heard people think it's a nice language, so maybe someone want to know it) or how to eat with chop-stick. I'd like to learn how to play guitar (or even trumpet or bass-guitar it's ok), maybe how to cook better and much about other cultures.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, Cuba, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
