About Me

My greatest passion is experiencing life in different places. As of now I'm trying to bounce across Europe as much as I can, but taking a stroll in Caracas and walk around in the Red Square in Moscow are some of my future goals.
(Edit - I eventually did walk in the Red Square!)

I'm always up for trying out new things, meeting people and sharing stories, and I believe couchsurfing is great for this!

At the moment I am based in Zurich, where I work as a project manager.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of sharing your own habitat with travelers. I believe it goes back to the ancestral concept of hospitality, that many cultures have glorified throughout history.
And as a passionated traveler, I see Couchsurfing as a way to have the travel come to you even when you do not travel!

I've been a surfer in a few places, across central and northern Europe. I've hosted a few times, and I hung out with travelers and locals in tons of places. In every case the experience was great! I really enjoyed my time spent couchsurfing, and i had the luck to find great people all the time! :)

Interests

Exploring different countries and getting to know different people is without any doubt one of my favorite activities!
I also enjoy music, reading good books and chilling in the open air.
History, geopolitics and religion are some of the topics that interest me the most. I'm always up for socializing and chatting. And of course, one of the best things in life: drinking a glass of good red wine in good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like nearly everything, but I mostly enjoy reggae, folk, balkan, ska, celtic punk.

Books: my favorites - Les Miserables, Germinale, Don Quichote, A Hundred Years of Solitude.

Movies: too many to list!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Zip lining across two mountains. At first I thought I'd die, but it turned up to be awesome!

- Drinking sangria on the cuevas in Granada with some of my best friends, while waiting for the Alhambra fortress to turn reddish at the light of dawn.

- Quitting my job and start to roam across Europe with no clear plan

- Camino de Santiago
