ABOUT ME

I just finished my studies in Germany as I went off with my girlfriend to travel the world. We've been (almost)all over the place, lived in New Zealand and Canada for a while and visited many many great places and met even more amazing and weird people. And I just love travelling.
I used to rather stay at home and do some baking and cooking(which I still love), but I've gotten in contact with my inner child again during this year - I am still like a little kid when it comes to exploring new places and love to try new things. Travelling kind of loosens your inner boundaries that keep the world away from you and you open your mind for different cultures and ways of living. At least as I experienced.
So how could I not fall in love with being on the road? :)

And anything else....it's hard to say something about myself. But if you'd push me... Maybe I'm a little headstrong and like to do things in my own special way :D But I'm a kind, honest and respectful person who you can count on. I appreciate the beauty in tiny little things. Sometimes I'm longing for silence and loneliness, even though I'm a chatty person who likes to be accompanied by friends. I enjoy laughing and sharing experiences. And if you'd ask me, birds are the best animals.

I've couchsurfed, and it was an awesome experience. And when I'm back home, I'll definitely host! Let the travelling never stop.

Interests

I love to browse around in stores which sell old and used stuff, like book stores, thrift stores and markets.
Besides that I'm kind of a pretty good housewife, I guess - I love baking and cooking.

Movies? Yessa! Most of all I love older movies like The first Wives Club, or mystery movies like Murder on the Orient Express or Murder she wrote, and the worst Horror films. Or Match Point. Or One Day, Or Babel. Or Water for Elephants. Or Precious. Or Bridget Jones. Or Bridesmaides. Or Django. Or Moonrise Kingdom. Or Harry and Sally. Or ....
Music? Essential! Though I'm the most unmusical person you can imagine - I can't even carry a tune. But that does not stop me from singing.
I like The Cure, Mumford ans Sons, Bon Iver, Austra, Placebo, Ben Howard, Death Cab for Cutie and The XX.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped out of a plane.
And I saw and lived in the Canadian Rockies in the winter time - one of the most beautiful places in the world.
