About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I try to find out what I want to be when I grow up...

ABOUT ME

I am easy-going, open-minded, optimistic and spontaneous person. I love to meet friends and have a good party. I look younger than I am, people usually think I'm about 20, I'm annoyed by this sometimes but I'll probably appreciate it in five years. When I am laughing really hard I usually start to cry, I don't know why...it doesn't mean that I am sad though. What else...well I like to seperate waste. I hope to meet many different interesting, smart and funny people who tell me stories about their world wide travelling!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is far too important to be taken seriously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cannot offer a couch at the moment but I hope to do so in the near future!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm quite new to CouchSurfing. I was couchsurfing last in year in Lyon, France. We had an amazing host and loads of fun there. So I thought it was time for me now to get my own account and meet new people all over the world.

Interests

I love music, books and movies (see below). Since I'm lacking talent I'm not playing any instruments but I listen to music all the time (I don't like silence). I'm lucky to live in Berlin so I can go to concerts almost every day. In summertime I can't wait for the festival season to begin. I think it's just the most amazing thing to be outside and listen to music with likeminded people.
I like to read about politics, especially foreign politics and international affairs.
That I love to travel goes without saying here, I guess.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to folk pop and indie music but when I go out I enjoy dancing to electronic music. Here's a list of what I like: Laura Marling, Fleet Foxes, Alt-J, Yeasayer, Lisa Hannigan, Beirut, Fanfarlo, Arcade Fire, Jamie T and the likes.

One of my favorite writers is Oscar Wilde (The Picture of Dorian Gray)and I like reading children's stories (Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz, the Neverending Story and so on)as well as Fantasy novels (yeah, the classics Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings). When it comes to recent authors I for example love the work of Jonathan Safran Foer.

And here's a list of some of my favorite movies: Big Fish, the Lord of the Rings, Control, Black Swan and also Indie movies like I Killed my Mother (Xavier Dolan) or Another Earth (Brit Marling).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was living in Ireland I did a trip to the West coast with some friends. One evening we went to the Cliffs of Moher, most of the other tourists were gone so we actually saw the cliffs deserted. We went passed the barrier and sat down when the most amazing sunset I've ever seen set in. I'll never forget the view of these impressive cliff flooded in golden light and the happy faces of my friends when we shared that moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

Maybe you can show me how to cook a meal that's typical for your country?
