ABOUT ME

I'm born and bred Canadian, but am half American, half German. I love learning about other cultures and getting involved. I love to make things myself (anything from spinning wool to baking bread) and to discover little places that are genuine (independent cafes, microbreweries, etc.). I like chilling in the park, in the cafe, or in the pub. Most of all I enjoy talking ;)

PHILOSOPHY

I've only got one life, and no one else can live it for me. I want to be happy and, if I'm lucky, leave the world a bit better for having had me in it.

Pretty much anything... but no screaming in the music (or much in movies for that matter :) ). I'm particularly interested in Ska/Funk or anything melodic. I love fantasy books, especially ones for children :D

Swam in the Rio Negro (tributary to the Amazon River) after having fished for Piranhas! There's not really any danger, but when you have an over-active imagination...

Well, I can teach you how to spin, knit, dye wool... if you're a bit new agey, I can introduce you to Nia (yoga meets Martial arts and dance). If you come in the winter, I'll show you how to make a snowball or a snowman, or how to go shoe shoeing. I want to learn about where YOU come from. I want to learn about what's different to you and WHY.
