Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Have only used this site a couple of times so far. Had one great experience, and one not so great. I guess it's what we learn from these experiences that brings us back and intrigues us to continue the adventures.

Interests

Travel (naturally), scuba diving, cycling, jungle trekking, history, politics.

Music, Movies, and Books

Minimal techno, house, acid.
Movies, too many to list. I could recommend some Korean movies for those interested.
Books, the classics- especially Dostoevsky and Dickens.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving; caving; met the mountain gorillas of Uganda.

Teach, Learn, Share

Planning to study spanish this next trip. Would love to pick up more along the way.
As an English professor in Korea, I could return the favour with English and maybe a little Korean.
