I'm Stella from Germany and currently travelling without an end date. I finished my master degree in special needs education but always knew that I have to go out into the world and explore more of it. Getting to know new people, places and cultures is a very important aspect of my life.
At the moment I'm in Australia, where I came to the first time 8 years ago, straight after high school and which opened my heart for the travel world. So I got into the country last year in February just before the borders got closed and I'm so happy about that.
I'm a very positive person and easy going. I love to have good times with other people and share some times with good talks and a lot of laughs together. I think every person we meet inspires us as also the other way around. A stranger is friend you haven't met yet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to get know a country, city, village, any new place is in my eyes through locals. This way I feel like that rather than just seeing a place I get to experience a place which helps me to build up a connection to this place. And also I love to get to know knew people and different personalities. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to do that!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my last years of travelling I had so many amazing experiences that it is not really fair to focus on just one. But a moment when I had tears in my eyes was when I saw my first whales, it happened while I was surfing and they were just about 25m away from me.
