About Me

Hello there! Self-glorification isn't my strong suit, so here are some of my inadequacies.

I'm a..

- Wannabe creative: It's easy to gather the materials but a lot harder to put pencil to paper. Opening new paint is both exciting and terrifying at the same time.

- Daydreamer: I can entertain hypothetical scenarios and come up with reasonable solutions to fake problems

- Bad gardener: Ambitious but often neglectful after things are in the dirt

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best memories I have when traveling usually involve unexpectedly meeting a local and learning a something about the place that I wouldn't usually find in a guidebook. I like the idea of creating an organized way for these interactions to happen.

I really appreciate the altruistic nature of Couchsurfing. From what little I have surfed, I have been hosted by the most generous people I have ever met. I think this is a great way to share experiences with truly good people.

Interests

My interests are simply reflections of things I've tried and liked. If your interests are different, I'd love to learn from you.

  • dancing
  • cooking
  • gardening
  • traveling
  • rock music
  • extreme sports

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I love my late 90s alt rock, I like dancing to EDM and pop, bluegrass is great for driving because it so upbeat and disarming

Books - Packing for Mars

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught a kid to swim. I was volunteering at a special needs camp, he was scared of water, and all of the other counselors and therapists thought it was a lost cause. It's one of my proudest moments.

Soon after, some kid shit in the pool and he was then equipped with the skills to GTFO so they could close the place.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd be happy to cook while I stay, and I always look forward to sharing stories with new friends.
