Hello, hello :)
I hatched somewhere in Houston, TX, but grew up in very, very, very South Texas (McAllen, TX to be exact, where I currently reside). I've also lived in Austin, TX, while attending school, and in San Diego, CA, while living life.
I'm curious and adventurous; I'm always happy to learn. I mostly travel for music events. They make my heart smile.

I'm a master couchsurfer when it comes to friends' couches, but new to the world of strange couches. Help a homie out! I'd love to host and be hosted by people whom I might not otherwise encounter. This world is grand with so many rad people, it's a shame we don't more often go out out of our way to meet one another!

I'm all over the place! I'm a huge music/movie/book junkie!

As far as music goes, right now I'm listening to a lot of Hayes Carll, Shakey Graves, Brown Bird, Dustin Kensrue, and The White Buffalo. I go through different moods and "reobsessions" (as I call it) where all I want to listen to for a few weeks is a specific artist.
My love affair with music started at a young age, with The Offspring, blink 182, and Greenday heavily influencing my preferences. Since then I've definitely branched out. I'm a big fan of americana, outlaw country, bluesy rock, alt rock, all derivatives of rock actually, metal, lots of punk, some pop punk, ska.

I'm currently reading The Power of Now and it's quickly becoming one of my favorites. I used to read A LOT as a youngin. College kind of took the fun out of it, but as of late I've found myself reading non fiction opposed to the fiction books that used to line my bookshelves. Some past favorites would be Fight Club, The Outsiders, Tiny Beautiful Things, & On The Road.

My top three favorite movies, in no particular order, are City of God, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, and Beetlejuice. I enjoy movies that make me think about situations that my every day life doesn't necessarily expose me to, but something with weird/silly humor always wins.

I am a cook of average talents, but I can make a mean bowl of cereal...or just take you out. I am also a jokester of average funnies. If you have a dog, I could walk him/her; I'm pretty good at walking. I'm a seriously impressive air guitarist. Let me serenade you.
