Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am about optimistic thinking, adventure, food, people, and their stories.
ABOUT ME
I'm a multitasking 24 year old who wants to see the world, a sometimes vegetarian who wants to be healthy, and a writer who wants to hang out with people and find out about them.
By day, I'm an events planner. By all other hours, I co-pilot a travel project called The Open Window Exchange, where storytellers and travelers share art. Would love for you to check it out and get involved: www.theopenwindowexchange.com
PHILOSOPHY
Eat well. Travel often. Keep nothing that you do not find to be beautiful or useful.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Looking forward to meeting some great people and experiencing some cool places because of this community. If you come through Portland, let's hang out!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed in Seattle a few falls ago and it was the coolest experience of 2012. Now, I keep meeting other surfers in passing and it's always a pleasure.

Music, Movies, and Books
The box for this question makes me feel limited. I love all varieties movies, music, and books and I especially like exchanging titles with people. If you like drama or comedies, folk, and non-fiction, then we have a lot in common. If you like none of those things, then I can't wait to learn about your favorites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I met a boy named Musa at a school for deaf students in Rwanda. He told me his biggest dream was to come to America to study and meet Kobe Bryant. The way his tube socks slid down to his ankles and his missing front tooth allowed you to see his tonsils when he smiled...I will never forget Musa and the things he taught me about joy.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learning is my hobby. I want to become a more sustainable person who is really conscious of her own carbon footprint. If you know about sustainable nutrition, teach me. Also, do you know about microbreweries? I want to know, too.
I also want to learn to:
Surf (the ocean kind, as well as the couch kind)
Toss a pizza crust
Mountain bike
Circular breathe
Garden
