ABOUT ME

It has been my boyfriend and I dream to travel around South America! We are finally here and loving every moment! We have been together for 4 years living in sunny Gold Coast Queensland, Australia. We decided to join this great site "couch surfing" to meet new interesting people and see the sights from a locals eye. We are both genuine, down to earth people who love to meet, new exciting people!I (Stephanie) am Australian; born in Melbourne and moved to Gold Coast 7 years ago where I met my lovely bf!Joel is Australian, born in Perth WA, however his mother is from Indonesia so that may answer some questions by looking at his photo! hahaha :)

Well, as were travelling we are unable to be hosts, so our participation will involve surfing and of course being great friends to the people we meet! :)

Unfortunately we haven't had the experience of couch surfing Yet, however we do hope that changes soon!

Joel : HipHop, reggae and rock. Favourite movies are "Anchorman" and "Limitless" . Unfortunately Im not much of a reader, more of a movie/tv guy!Stephanie : I love the series "The girl with a dragon tattoo", any of Jodi Picoults books, and also any true story books. I dont really have a favourite movie but I love comedies! I also love all kinds of music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Joel : I surfed with dolphins in Margaret River WA, AUS. It was the most amazing thing ever! Stephanie : It was definitely the time I swam with massive Sea Lions in the ocean off the coast of Lima, Peru! They were only 1 meter away and swimming all around us! However it was also terrifying because of the saying, "Wherever theres seals theres sharks"! I have a massive phobia of sharks too!
