im a cheerful person, open-minded and with a smile. im currently studying in oxford but in the summer im in constant transition as i want to travel to all the east & south east asian countries. the transition standing for backpacking & the uncertainty as to whether i get to complete my planned travels, like has happened this year (got dragged back to the uk to retake my exams (japanese is difficult). but i have have every intention of returning to japan in sept.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

as i said, this summer my plans all got thrown away when i had to return to the uk to retake my exam, so now im left with no job & no place to stay for the remaining couple of months til the end of summer holidays. ive managed to find a place in exchange for pet sitting but its for only weeks at a time. so during this time, if anyone would be willing to lend me a bed or sofa for a night or 2 at a time around london, id be very grateful. so thanks in advance & よろしくおにがいします。

movies; my current fav is Avatar in 3d but from when i was a kid, i liked start trek & indiana jones.
books; ive read quite a lot of books in my time, lol, ranging from romance, horror & drama & finally settling on sci-fi & fantasy with my fav being the kushiel's trilogy, anne mccaffrey & christopher pike books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

im not really sure what to put here, but everyone says it amazing that i backpacked around japan for 3 months solo for my first holiday abroad? does that count, as im sure that more adventurous people on here.
but basically it was 3 months backpacking around on my own (best way to interact with the locals i found) covering; tokyo, yokohama, saitama, nikko, kawaguchiko, fujinomiya, shizuoka, kyoto, nara, osaka, takamatsu, shishui, koochi and tokushima.
