Overview
About Me
Hi everybody! I'm Stephanie and I LOVE to travel. I grew up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and lived there for 12 years. During my time there my family and I traveled across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and the United States. I was born to travel, and I hope to continue to pursue that passion for the rest of my life.
I currently live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the US. I go to college at the University of the Arts for voice! I'm a singer and musician, and would love to talk all things music with you. I'm a vegetarian (slowly transitioning to vegan) and I have two adorable cats. I also hope to have a pet pig one day... So if you can't tell by now, I also love animals! I'd love to talk to you about music, movies, nature, video games, marvel comics, and above all, FOOD. I'm a big foodie so if I stay with you, one of my biggest questions will be what the best authentic food spots are. I'm very cleanly and I keep my space organized as well. I can't wait to meet you all in person!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling has been a passion of mine since I was practically a baby. I come from a traveling family, having visited over 10 countries before I was a teenager. I find it imperative to experience other cultures, to understand how rich and diverse every community is all across the world. There's so much each one of us can learn from other countries and cultures. I'm Couchsurfing because I want to fully experience the community I'm visiting. I want to learn the customs and about the people that live there. Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity for me to authentically experience a country and it's culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After I graduated High School, I went on a trip to Fiji with my best friend. We met two villagers that took us on a couple tours while we were there. One of them involved horse back riding to an underground cave previously inhabited by cannibals. The trip to and through the cave was beautiful, and afterwards we went back to their village, sat with them in their home and drank an authentic Fijian drink, cava, with them as they told us about their lives. I'll never forget that experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
