I absolutely love traveling and getting to know people from different countries and cultures. There's nothing else to say about this. Anything else is just embellishing those simple two base reasons. =]

I'm Bolivian-American, and grew up in two countries, so intercultural communication has always been of interest to me. I traveled and studied abroad a bit, and even worked in a cruise ship. Then I finished my education comparatively quickly so I could get a long term job abroad. Well, I shouldn't say finished, as I still want to pursue another degree, but momentarily on break.
I now work in China as an English Lecturer in a University.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

A couple of my good friends have done couchsurfing and really recommended it.

After my winter vacation, I tried couchsurfing a couple of times and all were really memorable experiences.

For music, I enjoy listening to a bit of everything. Shakira, Super Junior, Marc Anthony, Rin, Roma Kenga, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Adele are some musicians or bands that come to mind.

Movies & Books: I usually read or watch action or fantasy stories.
Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, Gladiator, The Avengers, Howls' moving castle are at the top of my list.

After meeting so many travelers and hearing their stories, my adventures don't seem as amazing. But meeting those sort of people, the ones that humble you into thinking that you still have so much more to learn, so much more to see, is amazing in its own right.
