I love a good adventure, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with a quiet night in. I enjoy being outdoors, exploring new places, yoga, cards, board games and books. I appreciate a good craft beer, a strong cup of coffee, and home cooked meals. I'd like to think that I'd try anything at least once.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy traveling and meeting new people along the way. It's always so great to meet people that are familiar with the area that you're staying in, and great to be able to have a comfortable and friendly atmosphere to go to at the end of the day.
I hope to meet a lot of amazing people while on my adventures and in the future (once I have a clean couch) to host others and help them on their journeys.

Interests

I love anything outdoors, hiking, epic views, fishing, camping, etc. Staying fit through jogging, yoga, and the odd workout. I also enjoy a good card night or board game night with some wine or brews (can get a little competitive, but it's all in good fun!).

Music, Movies, and Books

Big country fan, but also going through a Black Keys and Arctic Monkey's phase, most 90's jams bring me back to my high school days, I'll mix things up with Norah Jones and Matt Corby, and I'll always have a collection of old school rock on hand just in case. I'll listen to basically a little bit of everything.
Books: Game of Thrones, Lucky, Brave New World.
Movies: Up, Super Troopers, Fantastic Mr.Fox, Pitch Perfect, heist movies! haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Timber cruising. Yah it's work, but this job is pretty wild. Camping for 10 days at a time with an awesome group of like minded hard workers that love to kick it around a fire with a few beers every night. The work is physically and mentally challenging and you just can't help but feel like a bad ass that conquered the forest at the end of each shift.

My bottle of wine and a few good stories. I really enjoy cooking too so if you need a hand in the kitchen I'm more than willing to help out.
