About Me

I've grown up in Italy, but I'm now living in Liverpool. When I'm not working I like to relax by myself and read, but I'm never the one to refuse a night out with my friends! I'm very interested in politics, but I have no intention of becoming the next prime minister. My prospects in life are going to live anywhere with good weather and living in a small house with a vegetable garden, when my attempts to improve the political situation in the world will have failed miserably.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My experiences hosting or being hosted have all been great! I love hosting just as much as I love travelling.

Interests

In my spare time, I just like to relax and read a book, preferably while lying in the sun on a beach if it's summer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music. My favourite is probably indie rock, although I can't stand the stereotypical indie person.. haha! That's not really a matter of music though, I'm very particular. I go through phases, I can't say which my favourite artists are. At the moment it's electronica and jazz, and what I found out is called "art rock", Kate Bush since someone told me I look like her.. it used to be (and I still do like them) Alt-J and Tame impala, and occasionally Caparezza because it's very political! With music I'm just very open to anything.
I go through phases with books too, but it's nearly always Politics or Philosophy. My favourite philosophers and writers are probably Sartre, Heidegger, Foucault and Chomsky. But I'll probably enjoy reading anything as long as it's not fiction or autobiographies! I'm open to any suggestions

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to have people in my home! My fridge, kitchen and couch are communal property :D I live with two other course mates, they're also very friendly and easy going. The house is a bit small but very cosy. Just outside the centre of Liverpool, within walking distance from everything. There are times when we won't be able to host anyone, like when we are home for the holidays or during exam period.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm quite good at cooking, I'll be happy to share any italian recipes! :)
