I’m an American currently living in Crest, France where I work as an English assistant teacher. I love meeting new people, traveling, and really anything outdoorsy (i.e. hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, skiing, volleyball, wake boarding... etc.) Some people tell me I got bit by the “travel bug” but that’s not really the case. Traveling, experiencing new cultures, and sharing my own culture isn’t a phase I’m going through... it’s the lifestyle I’m choosing to have. I’m a pretty laid back person, I like to make things up on the spot and see where the day is going to take me. Oh, and I spend like 97.6% of my life laughing

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and being able to see how alike we are even though we may be from opposite sides of the world. I also am not a huge fan of basic “touristy” things - I much prefer to experience cities like a local. Plus there’s just something really cool about having friends all over the world

I speak English and French and I enjoy helping others with those languages! I also love board games and always bring at least one with me wherever I go, so we’ll never get bored 😜
