Overview
About Me
I attended the University of South Carolina for college and still live in Columbia. I'm currently employed as the Marketing and Communications Director for a nonprofit. I'm extremely social and love constantly trying new things and meeting new people. For me, traveling is a much more enjoyable experience when shared with others, whether they be old friends or fresh faces.
If you were to ask my friends about me I think they'd say I'm very laid back, kind and outgoing. I try to be as considerate as I can of other peoples' feelings and open to other peoples' opinions. I love people who challenge my ideas and open me up to new ways of thinking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking to meet new people and expand my travel opportunities. I really enjoy making new friends and having a local to guide me or at least make recommendations. Like most, I enjoy the touristy parts of any trip but really love going off the beaten path and have a "local" experience.
