I am a musician at heart turned public servant (and surprisingly quite OK with this!) that has put off travelling for too long. After getting the family started, we are now ready to go!

I have two daughters (6 and 8) that are learning English and slowly learning about other cultures. We want to have them experience life to the fullest by meeting different people early in life.

WARNING! We actually live in Gatineau, in the province of Quebec, but it is right beside Ottawa (Ottawa is literally 3km from my house). They call the combination of Ottawa and Gatineau the National Capital Region.

Our house is big enough to accommodate a family and located just 20 minutes from Ottawa by public transport (5 minutes by car).

Meet people and share experiences.

We will mainly accept families as we want our daughters to meet new people and experience different cultures. We prefer having people over the weekend, but you never know. We can do stuff with you of not, depending on our schedule (we both work like crazy!).

Music: a little bit of everything as long as it is interesting - Tori Amos, Francis Cabrel, TwentyOne Pilots, Metallica, Voltbeat, Coeur de pirate, Beastie Boys, contemporary classical saxophone, and the list goes on depending on my mood...
Movies: Dead Poet Society, Lord of the Rings... actually I don't really like movies usually...
Books: Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, any Henkell novel, and I have kids so I don't have time to read!

Survive life in general...
Leaving in June 2017 for a central/eastern Europe backing expedition with my husband and kids (8 and 6)! Stay tuned!
