ABOUT ME

I am ambitious, outgoing, fun loving, ready for anything, try anything twice kind of person! I am a firm believer in the concept of Couchsurfing, and have met people through this that have changed my life! I also believe in going with the flow of travel, keeping plans loose enough to let others change those plans.

My Philosophy of travel(greatly influenced by my time in India)

-TALK TO STRANGERS!
-Play with the kids
-Learn as much of the language as possible, locals are always thrilled with your genuine enthusiasm
-laugh in any situation that others would normally find frustrating(hanging off of an indian train anyone?)
-Don't be rigid with your travel plans- meet other people, let them change those plans!

Traveling has been the best thing in my life!

A bit about myself though- I am 26, a tattoo artist, a food lover, enjoy spur of the moment plans, and enjoy a good strong drink! I try and work all over the world - so far I've tattooed in Thailand, Australia, and India, and more countries to come.

I love to cook a good meal for my hosts, from Louisiana Gumbo, to Southern Chicken Fried Steak, Mexican, etc. So if you've got a kitchen, let me at it :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My ex boyfriend and I surfed for the first time when relocating to Melbourne in January of 2013(after hosting before), after sending out tons of Couch Requests we got one back from a silly guy named Gerard, that ended up changing entire stay in Australia!
Him and his flat mate ended up being our closest friends, we even got a place two blocks away!
CS always has a way of turning you in the direction you need to go, and every person we've surfed with, and hosted has become a close friend; and it never ceases to amaze me the personal connections and the depth of generosity thats displayed over and over again. With that being said, I always try and give back just as much :)
CS is amazing, and has definitely changed my life for the better!

Interests

Art, all kinds- music, something I can dance to, especially LOVE bollywood after living in India, best dance moves in the world! Obviously, tattooing, learning from and meeting new artists. Cooking, trying every new food that I come across, no matter what it is! Having conversations with strangers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

India, ALL of India. Train rides, kids in the streets, amazing family in Jaipur, Full moon camel safari on acid with my ladies. So So So much.. words cant describe the magic and memories from traveling, as I'm sure many of you already know :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I majored in Fine Arts, and work as a Tattoo Artist all over the world. I meet so many travelers, and am lucky enough to do tattoos for many of them and to be apart of their experience and memories :)
