This is really an "about us." Deanna and Stephanie.
Stephanie (25) lives in Asheville, NC and graduated from North Carolina State University.
Deanna (23) is from Washington D.C. and teaches English abroad in Japan while working part time at an English magazine in Osaka, Japan. She graduated from the University of Maryland.

We are meeting in Europe and travelling to as many places as possible in 10 days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling with a friend in July. We met while studying abroad in Japan and are interested in another adventure. This time in Europe. We chose couch surfing because we want to meet rad locals and experience an authentic taste of that countries lifestyle.

Interests

Deanna likes to study languages such as Japanese and French, read, watch movies, travel, and play any kind of sports.

Stephanie likes to drink beer, go on runs, travel, and hang out with her dog.

Stephanie likes to listen to swing, psychedelic Japanese rock, and her favorite author is Neil Gaiman.

Deanna likes to listen to electronic rock like Innerpartysystem, pop like Taylor Swift, and classic stuff like The Killers (Hot Fuss only, she insists). Her favorite book is a fantasy "A Spell for Chameleon" by Piers Anthony.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing Stephanie has done is study abroad in Japan and learn how to make friends despite language barriers.

One amazing thing Deanna has done is organize a team sparring event at an international karate tournament in Malaysia.
