I'm 35, from the island originally called Iere. I work in the areas of gender justice and sexual & reproductive health and founded/work for a feminist Non Profit: WOMANTRA.

I have hosted several times before, surfed just once.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had one couch surfer from Poland stay with me for more than one year!! I didn't even have an account at that time but a friend recommended me. I've also met up with other couch surfers at organized gatherings here in Trinidad and Brazil

Interests

I really enjoy sleeping and eating ... not such a good combination, I know. I also enjoy laying in hammocks, reading, swimming and playing football.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy indie films, mostly european and love reggae music. I read a lot of non-fiction and auto-biographies but I can also get into a good novel, especially when written by a Caribbean author.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Nylon Pool in Tobago (Trinidad's sister isle) is a point in the middle of the ocean where you can step off your boat or jet ski and walk around because the water is no more than a few inches high. Quite amazing.
