About Me

Hi! I’m Steffi (31) and I live together with my husband and our two sons in Blaubeuren (15km to Ulm) in a really nice house with garden. Our landlord lives in a separate flat within the house. As we are renters only and she owns the place it is absolutely necessary that everyone who wants to stay here agrees to be clean and respectful. She is absolutely lovely and kind and we don’t want this good relationship to suffer.

David is working as a chemist and I am currently at home with our two sons. I studied English and French (teacher) at the University of Heidelberg because I love to get in contact with people from different countries and cultures and listen to their very personal life stories.

I'd say I'm flexible and easy-going, polite, funny, honest and reliable. I like to see people happy so I try to spread optimism (:

PHILOSOPHY

Always be open, tolerant and real.
Feeling and challenging myself always so that I can grow as a person and get out the most of myself as a human being.
Trying to get as close as possible to the person I want to be which is needing and having less in materialistic terms but be rich in experiences, kindness and connection to nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first got on CS when I was 18 and travelled through Australia with my best friend. We had the chance to meet some awesome people through couchsurfing! We wrote all our requests from her profile that’s why I do not have many references on my own profile.

I love the whole concept and the idea of getting to know a city or country by natives.

Interests

Right now I enjoy being a mum - it’s a full time job, hey! But oh so rewarding.

Being outside, swimming, biking, running, meeting friends, doing things I’ve never done before, travelling, laughing, playing the piano, singing,…

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music I'm quite open to many kind of genres. At the moment I love listening to Aurora!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Many things I saw on this planet took my breath away. Nature is amazing! Actually the beauty of those colours, landscapes, animals and us humans is what I like to contemplate most.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing life stories and I am always interested in what others have experienced.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Definitely some time, stories and food! We’re very flexible! If you just need a couch to crash on, text us. If you want to spend some time with us, text us.

We’ll see if we’re available to show you around the city. It always depends on what we’re up to with the kids, too.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, England, France, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Viet Nam
