About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My 'mission' is to meet new and interesting people and to provide a safe and welcoming place for them to stay.

ABOUT ME

I am open to people sharing my home and see this as a way of giving back. I have an eclectic circle of friends whom I love and who love me, we enjoy great and simple food together often. Happy to share them with you too. Love music and I am learning the guitar though I'm not so great at practicing.
I have 2 kids, who are both pursuing their interests in Berlin, Germany and I visit as often as I can. We also had students living with us at various times, and when it came for them to leave, they didn't want to, we keep in touch, and have met up and stayed with them whilst travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am passionate about all sorts of things, fairness, justice, workers rights etc. I love my work, I love my life. I love talking and I love being quiet. I soak up what's around and give and take what I need to. I don't suffer fools well. I cook and share food. My friends come to stay with me for respite care and a place to relax.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have only done this in Germany and the UK a few years ago, enjoyed it, and got to know some great people.

I love music from just about all genres, love being engrossed in a movie. Reading has been difficult lately but I do have a stack of books that I am either part way through or 'want' to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

been flying in a glider, to help overcome a fear of flying! The most amazing thing I've done though is bring up two beautiful children who are now awesome adults!!

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to meet pretty much anyone unless you are bigoted, racist or homophobic.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Switzerland
